PRESIDENT'S COMMENTS
The presentation at the July social was very enjoyable.
Megan Cox, who is a High School teacher, accompanied a group of eight Classics students to some interesting places which included Rome, Naples and Pompeii. Megan gave a very different view of some historical sites of Italy – both the technology she used and the comments of her students were refreshingly different. Megan’s Power Point images were great with lots of photos of the students exploring ancient archaeological sites and also photos taken during the periods when they were at leisure. A big thank you to Megan for her informative and humorous presentation.

COMMENTI DEL PRESIDENTE
La presentazione della serata sociale di luglio è stata molto gradevole. Megan Cox, una professoressa di scuola superiore, ha accompagnato un gruppo di otto studenti di materie classiche a visitare alcune interessanti città tra cui Roma, Napoli e Pompei. Megan ci ha proposto un’interpretazione alquanto diversa di alcuni siti italiani storici – sia la tecnologia da lei usata che i commenti dei suoi studenti sono stati piacevolemente insoliti. Le immagini Power Point erano fantastiche con numerose fotografie degli studenti in fase di esplorazione di antichi siti archeologici come pure foto scattate durante i loro periodi di relax. Un grosso ringraziamento a Megan per la sua presentazione istruttiva e umoristica.
